Air ionizer OVION-S is used for disinfection of air, cleaning it from dust, various allergens, fungi, pollen, hair and fuzz of pets, tobacco smoke and other unpleasant odours, heavy metals, it reduces the impact of radioactive radon fission products and delivers negative oxygen aeroions to the air.
As the air flow goes through the ionisation block, the air polluting particles acquire negative charge and are landed on the positive plates of the electronic filter. Air molecules get ionized and negative oxygen aeroions get formed. Also the air is disinfected by the ozone generated during ionization, so it acquires the bactericidal properties. Air in the premises becomes as fresh as after rain, there is a feeling of easiness, willingness to act, and weariness or drowse disappear. And most importantly, the erythrocites are in a position to supply negative oxygen aeroions to the cells.
Such air improves metabolism, quality of sleep, helps to cure respiratory diseases, chronic disorders and allergy. Using of air ionizer reduces the risk of severe respiratory disorders and virus infections. When located next to strong electrostatic sources (like switched on TV sets, computers) the ionizer reduces the positive charges created by them by 5 to 10 times. Air ionizer helps to reduce radiation of radioactive radon fissure products especially in basements and lower levels of buildings.
Little volume of ozone formed during the activity of this appliance turns the organic material contained in the air (various odours) into environmentally clean components such as carbonic acid, water steam and oxygen. Such air cleaning processes take place in nature.
Air ionizer OVION-S provides a possibility to breathe in „live" air.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF THE IONIZATOR
1. The appliance consists of two parts: the base comprising the electronic power supply assembly and easily dismounting cassettes. The ionizing assembly and precipitation electrodes constituting the cleaning chamber are mounted inside the cassette.
2. The principle of activity is based on the corona discharge. The “ions wind” – the effluvium- created during the process ensures passage of the air through the cleaning chamber of the ionizator. Every second about 1,5 liters of air pass through the chamber.
3. The contaminating particles together with the air enter the cleaning chamber and on acquiring the electric charge stick to the precipitation electrodes. At the same time the air passing through the chamber is disinfected by the ozone that gets formed in the corona discharge zone.
4. The cleaned air with a small volume of ozone (4 to 5 times lower than the permitted volume and not presenting any health hazard) and enriched with “air vitamins” - negative aeroions is discharged into the environment bringing in the sense of freshness similar to that we might feel after lightening or being by the water falls.
